So many people fight to keep a good K/D. Either by being rushers, campers, kill farmers, etc. But, the question always comes up on both sides: Does it matter?
I'll give my answer: No. Its something you should not pay so much attention to. Why? Because it will drive you insane, and make the game less fun. Who made it a rule, in any FPS, that K/D mattered most? Who made it necessary to care about the best K/D on multi-player games?
Retards. That's who.
You think that camping in corners, ADS'ing behind rocks and barrels is the way to play this game? A game that is suppose to be fun? Suppose to show some sort of skill? Does it really matter if you need to pull a 2.30 kdr for friends to think you're good?
These games breed two kinds of players:
- The Grinder: Players who play to win. Rushing, defending, playing the objective. Demolishing the opposition in any game mode no matter what. Playing aggresively, using any type of weapon available to them and using their map knowledge with authority. (IE: Sandy Ravage, ElPresador, OneAnnoyingFCK, Shadow_Frenchie, Zcs, etc). And then you have
- The Pussies: Players who camp. Players who use Ghost. Second Chance, Kill Farm, plug pullin fags. The conservative group of players who hate dying, winning with a team, and only think about themselves, the ones who will pull the plug once their stats are in peril. Kill farmers only THINK about themselves. Second Chance users only THINK about themselves. Ghost users only THINK about themselves. Plug Pullers, only THINK about themselves. Why? Because they need that crutch perk, or that lousy KDR stat to keep them playing, caring about their K/D. Keep them in the game. (WingsofRedemption/Unlimited_UAV, Hupit Fags, Markf, culdude, others).
Pussies. KDR loving players. These are players we play against every night.
I don't think about my KDR when I play. I just know I can play. I don't have to sit in corners. I don't have to ADS to kill you. I will find you. What KDR? My game speaks for itself. Sure I might not be able to pull 100+ kills in one match. But I can sure as hell ruin your stats with finding your routes, your spots, your weaknesses.
Why K/D doesn't matter to me: Because I just **** shit up without thinking twice about it. I play for fun. Not for stat loving fags. That's why it doesn't matter to me.
