Not going to lie guys, I was a bit annoyed last night. After asking if there was room for me in the party I waited for probably an hour with no reply. From what I could see on the xmb you were only 4-strong but for all I knew there could be 2 people in the party whom I don't have added so I was content for the moment.
Then Lilac gets on and I think, "finally someone to party with", yet I see she's in your party. A little miffed at being ignored and fed up with trying to solo against the usual douchebaggery, I attempt to join your session. I successfully get put in mid-game on your team only to be greeted with, "Oh look, the connection whore is here" and "No wonder I'm doing so bad, Oreos has turned up" or words to that effect.
I was a bit taken aback tbh, as not once before has anyone mentioned to me that me being in your games is detrimental to your gaming experience, connection or otherwise, and when I check everyone's connection you were all on 3/4 bars except Lilac and I on 2 and Shadow on 2/3.
Honestly, I take no offence from people not wanting to play with me, whether it be because, for some reason, I sandbag your connection, or any other reason that affects your enjoyment (what little can be had from BO) of the game. What I'm peeved at is; firstly, I didn't get a response from my party request and secondly, the way I was greeted when I joined your session.
I can understand it may have been difficult to word a PM saying, "Oreo, we don't want you to play with us because you **** up our connection" or something along those lines, without feeling a little harsh, but I'd much prefer you guys to be straight up and honest rather than just ignoring me. This obviously led into my second point because when I was ignored I joined your session to see what was up and was made to feel very unwelcome. I'd consider you all my friends, even if this doesn't extend past the PS3, and enjoy the banter between everyone but that didn't feel like friendly banter to me.
I'm not sure how differently I would have acted if the shoe was on the other foot and it's all water under the bridge now as far as I'm concerned, but I felt I should let you know I wasn't very happy about it.
