our sun wont go supernova. its not big enough. it will however turn into a red giant and consume the earth. after that, it will fade into a white dwarf.
our universe is expanding and will continue expanding until all the available energy in the universe is gone. then it will be absolute nothingness. once all the energy in the universe is converted to kinetic energy, the temperature of the universe will reach absolute zero.
the expansion theory is far from proven, but it is a really interesting option
String Theory is some trippy shit, but if it is transformed into energy, it will have to go somewhere (the energy)....does it go to another universe, or towards the creation of another new universe?
way over my head, but I could talk about this type of stuff all day
the energy doesnt go anywhere at that point. we all know that matter = energy, thanks to Einstein. matter is just potential energy, when all the matter is converted to kinetic energy, there will be no potential energy left and thus the universe will be completely empty.
but the kinetic energy has to go somewhere...
